FAQ

What is the best way to eat?

Many factors influence which diet is best for you. These include your age, gender and weight. Also, consider your energy expenditure, whether you prefer low-calorie food, and whether you enjoy eating fruits or vegetables.

If you are trying to lose weight, then you may want to try intermittent fasting. Intermittent fasting involves consuming only specific meals throughout the day, rather than having three large meals. You may find that this method works better for you than traditional diets that include daily calorie counts.

Some studies suggest that intermittent fasting may improve insulin sensitivity and reduce inflammation, which can lead to improved blood sugar levels and reduced risk of diabetes. Other research suggests that intermittent fasting may promote fat loss and improve overall body composition.

Get immune enhancement with herbs and supplements

Natural remedies and herbs can be used to increase immune function. Examples include ginger, garlic and oregano oils, echinacea, vitamin C, ginkgo loba, and echinacea.

These herbs should not be considered as a substitute for conventional medical treatment. They may cause side effects such as nausea, diarrhea, stomach cramps, headaches, dizziness, and allergic reactions.

How can I get enough vitamins?

The majority of your daily needs can be met through diet alone. Supplements can be helpful if you are lacking in any one vitamin. A multivitamin supplement can provide all the vitamins you require. You can also buy individual vitamins in your local drugstore.

If you are concerned about getting enough nutrients, talk to your doctor about what foods contain the best sources of vitamins. For example, dark green leafy vegetables such as spinach, broccoli, kale, collard greens, turnip greens, mustard greens, bok choy, romaine lettuce, arugula, and Swiss chard are rich in vitamins K and E. Other good sources include oranges, tomatoes, strawberries, cantaloupe, carrots, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, and squash.

Ask your doctor if you're not sure how many vitamins you should take. Based on your medical history and your current health, your doctor can recommend the correct dosage.
